VI Wildife Action Plan

The Virgin Islands Wildlife Action (VI-WAP) is approved by the U.S. Congress and links federal funds to Territorial on the ground wildlife programs. The first VI-WAP was created in 2005 and updated again in 2018 for approval in 2019. You may find the 2019 VI-WAP linked below in two parts. At present, the Division is working on a second update for 2025.

The VI Wildlife Action Plan is a comprehensive resource for the conservation and management of all fish, wildlife, and plant species of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
